The Eagle has landed

After a number of Chinese airplane meals, a welcome shower in HongKong and little sleep I landed to be greeted by Maddie at the airport.

At Coogee beach 2hrs after landing. Waves were huge but water warm.

Then beers and a lovely curry . Even managed to stay up until 10pm!

These are called curry bombs. Fill them with sauce then straight in…lovely

The next day Maddie and I were lucky enough to have a DAY AT THE CRICKET at Sydney Cricket Ground

Australia were playing the West Indies in a one day international and we had tickets to the members pavilion… which meant long trousers.

Couldn’t believe where I was.

A few beers in the pavilion with the players🏏 and Maddie.

Saw some big sixes but unfortunately the Windies weren’t good enough to make it a tight game.
We stay to the end when the lights came on.
