Around Sydney … Bondi and Blue Mountains

Sydney is not all opera houses and bridges.

Not every day you have Bondi to yourself. Perhaps they knew I was coming. Weather like this and Woolacombe would be packed, not here. Water still ridiculously warm although a little dangerous to swim.

The blue mountains are about 2hrs train ride from central Sydney. You start at sea level and by the time I got off it was as high as Snowdon. it was also 10 degrees cooler!

Fantastic forest

Look carefully and you will see a female liar bird
No fence feels safe enough

And then back to Sydney for an evening drink with Maddie and her friends overlooking the opera house.
