Onwards to Tasmania

The next leg of my journey was a flight to Hobart in Tasmania.

We set off backpacking along the Freycinet peninsula National Park.

We needed to carry all our water as well as a tent fortunately I had the help of a little carrier.

We set up camp at wine glass bay where we had number of visitors.

The next day after a very cold night we headed out with great views and a swim.

Next was the Bay of Fires in the far North East. (Called the bay of fires because the explorer that sailed by in 1778 saw the fires of the local aborigines).

Back to civilisation in the form of Hobart tomorrow!

  1. I’ll show all these to the team on Monday, Chris – jealousy?- never!

Make sure you bring back a wallaby or two to keep the chickens company…
