Chrisila King of the desert and rivers… Darling

The area I am staying is an area where they filmed some of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

In the middle of this a sculpture park! As good a place as any. Which do you like?

And this is me… in a tribute to Priscilla

With flora and fauna watching on.

Before getting back on the long road one last visit to

A clue…

Set up here in 1928

The rest of the day was mainly this

Made more amusing by these, who just make me laugh as they can’t decide to run off, or no, but always do waggling their dresses.

I started to look forward to the towns ( villages!) who make life more interesting by decorating the important objects.

All of a sudden the landscape started to change as I approached the Darling river which met with the Murray at Wentworth. It makes you realise just how these rivers have changed the way that this huge area has developed… water means crops and green.

Also a change in wild, and way of, life.

  1. What an amazing journey Chris. You look so well. Never knew you could do such a good impression of a lobster. Made be chuckle. Looking forward to your next posts and to catching up when you return.
